PERFECT LOCATION
Our journey started in 2005 when sister company Stephen Neall Interiors visited Saloni del Mobile – Milan, to meet the Poliform export team and started a trading relationship that has gone from strength to strength. It became clear from the very start, we needed a bigger showroom!
For over 35 years, the owners of Stephen Neall Interiors had dreamed of owning an old industrial building that overlooked their premises on Prince Albert Row in central Harrogate. Remarkably and with perfect timing, in 2007 the dream became a reality and what is now known as The Factory building became the perfect location for expansion and new opportunities.
NOD TO THE CREATIVE
The Factory building in Harrogate has been refurbished with the sole aim of creating a design centre, the heart of which is a mono brand store for one of the world’s leading furniture brands, Poliform. Inspiration for “The Factory” came from Andy Warhol’s New York studio, often referred to as “The Silver Factory” with silver foil applied to walls creating reflective light. Likewise, as a nod to the creative, we subtly use silver foil along with a collection of pop art images and our own charity Art-wall.
In March 2013 Poliform North was launched at The Factory building, Harrogate.

HISTORY
FAMILY-RUN BUSINESS
Poliform’s history is that of a company which, despite having achieved an international dimension, has maintained its family character. Established in 1970 as the evolution of a small artisan’s shop dating back to 1942, Poliform invested in new production technologies and the products have successfully evolved into functional and modular systems.
Poliform becomes an industry: the minds behind the turnaround, Alberto Spinelli, Aldo Spinelli and Giovanni Anzani, who still head the company today, successfully blending specific technical expertise and know-how with an entrepreneurial approach in absolute harmony with the social and economic changes of the era.
Over the years, Poliform continuously adapted its range of proposals to the furniture market, demonstrating a deep ability in gathering the requirements and the tastes of a heterogeneous and international audience and to anticipate and interpret trends in living.
The Poliform brand is today synonymous with luxury life style and excellence in quality.
