Poliform at Milan Design Week:
A New Chapter in the Heart of Milan
Discover what Poliform is presenting during Milan Design Week 2026, including its Palazzo Clerici installation and new Milan flagship showroom.
by Stephen Gee, Creative Director & Proprietor
Each April, Milan becomes the focal point of the design world. It is the week where global brands, architects, designers and enthusiasts gather to see not only what is new, but what is next. For those of us immersed in contemporary interiors, Milan Design Week remains the benchmark—a barometer of where design is heading and how the industry continues to evolve.
This year, Poliform is taking a notably different approach. Rather than exhibiting within the traditional halls of Salone del Mobile, the brand has chosen to centre its Milan Design Week presence around a more curated, immersive experience within the city itself.
At Poliform North, we see this not simply as a logistical decision, but as a reflection of the brand’s continued evolution—an indication of confidence, maturity, and a desire to present its collections within spaces that better communicate the Poliform lifestyle.
A Landmark Installation at Palazzo Clerici
For Milan Design Week 2026, Poliform will present “Multitude”, a dedicated installation hosted at the historic Palazzo Clerici, one of Milan’s most architecturally distinguished venues. Official Poliform information describes the concept as “a hidden garden in the heart of Milan, where time and space dissolve into the abstraction of an urban forest.”
The installation will run throughout design week from 21st–26th April, offering visitors the opportunity to experience Poliform’s newest collections in a highly atmospheric and experiential setting.
This move feels particularly appropriate for a brand like Poliform. Rather than displaying furniture in the conventional format of a trade stand, the collections will be shown within one of Milan’s grandest interiors—allowing visitors to experience the furniture in dialogue with architecture, atmosphere and heritage.
It is, in many respects, a more natural way to understand the Poliform philosophy.
The New Poliform Milano Flagship
Alongside the Palazzo Clerici installation, this year also marks a significant milestone for the brand with the opening of Poliform’s new Milan flagship showroom, located in Piazza della Scala, one of the city’s most prestigious and symbolic addresses.
Positioned in the heart of Milan, this new showroom reinforces Poliform’s commitment to presenting its world through a fully immersive residential lens—moving beyond individual products and instead showcasing complete living environments.
For clients and designers alike, this reflects something we at Poliform North have long championed: the idea that Poliform is not merely a furniture brand, but a complete architectural interiors concept.
The opening of this flagship store represents an important strategic step for the business and underlines Poliform’s continued investment in experiential retail and global brand positioning.
Why This Matters
Poliform’s decision to step away from the traditional fairground environment this year is notable. Salone del Mobile remains one of the most prestigious platforms in global design, yet Poliform’s alternative approach suggests a desire for greater narrative control—to present its collections in a more curated, emotional and lifestyle-led way.
This aligns entirely with the direction of the wider luxury interiors market. Increasingly, clients are not simply buying products; they are buying into a vision of living. They want to understand how furniture inhabits a room, how spaces flow together, and how brands interpret contemporary life in a holistic sense.
By focusing on immersive Milan city installations rather than exhibition halls, Poliform is embracing that shift.
What We Expect to See
While Poliform has remained characteristically measured in revealing full details ahead of launch, the brand has confirmed that its Milan Design Week presence will centre around new collections presented within the Palazzo Clerici installation.
Given Poliform’s recent trajectory, we anticipate a continued emphasis on:
- Sophisticated living systems
- Refined upholstery and lounge pieces
- Architectural bedroom concepts
- New material finishes and textile developments
- Further evolution of complete home integration
As always, Poliform’s strength lies not simply in launching individual products, but in presenting a cohesive vision of contemporary living.
Milan Design Week is always a moment of inspiration, but Poliform’s approach this year feels especially significant. By moving beyond the conventional trade fair format and embracing the city itself as its stage, the brand is reinforcing its position not merely as a furniture manufacturer, but as a curator of contemporary lifestyle.
At Poliform North, we look forward to seeing how this next chapter unfolds and, as always, bringing the latest Poliform launches and inspirations back to our Harrogate showroom for our clients to experience firsthand.
