This super contemporary kitchen is the focal point in a large-scale conversion forming part of a farmhouse, barns and outbuildings that date back 400 years.

The project undertaken in two phases over a period of several years has totally transformed the property which now provides a unique family home for today’s lifestyle.

Where others had failed to meet the brief, our challenge was to convert a Mock Georgian Village property into a contemporary home with a gallery feel.

Our mission was to completely strip out the existing kitchen and morning room then remove a chimney breast to create a new view of the garden.  The one part of this period property that must remain intact was the beautifully crafted plaster ceiling.
